Trust In The Lod

Trust in the Lord

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight”, “…put your trust in the Lord your God and you will be established. Put your trust in His prophets and succeed,”  “…blessed is he who trusts in the Lord,” “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord And whose trust is the Lord” are Scripture statements in Proverbs, 2nd Chronicles and Jeremiah.

A common word above is “trust”.  My dictionary describes “trust’ when used as a noun;  “firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something; acceptance of the truth of a statement without evidence or investigation:”  Used as a verb; ”believe in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of: allow someone to have, use, or look after (someone or something of importance or value) with confidence: commit (someone or something) to the safekeeping of:”  It’s root implies “strong”.

“Trust in the Lord” is the common statement.  The Lord, the Creator, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the one who gave His only begotten Son to be our Redeemer is who we are referring to.

Have you noticed that it is increasingly difficult to know what or who to believe in this world?  Have you discovered that lying, defaulting on a vow, cheating to get ahead, being unfaithful and much more seem to be “the norm”?  Persons and organizations ask you to “trust them”, and then bring disappointment because they do not live up the the word or promise given.  We are told to teach our young children not to trust anyone. Distrust seems to be rampant. How sad.  No wonder so many express hopelessness.

Just last evening, I was reading an account of a man who was renowned as an atheistic scientist.  His testimony was that for fifty years he believed the Theory of Evolution, and taught it passionately based on his trust in the science he gave his life to.  Then, he said that having been taught to follow a belief to its end, that same science let him to God the Creator of Heaven and Earth.  His studies discounted the so-called “Big Bang Theory” as he discovered that something / anything without life could not produce life, that only a living tissue, plant or entity was capable of reproduction. He also discovered and proved to himself the “Laws of Nature” are consistent and orderly.  Hence, he proved to himself and began to refute his own teachings about the Theory of Evolution, by writing of the proof of a “living, intelligent being” that had to have created the world. By the time he passed from this earth, he had put his trust in the Lord.  I rehearsed that to say this - If that educated scientist who had given his life to disbelief, and distrust concerning the very existence of a God who had created the universe could prove to himself and change his mind, any of us could certainly do the same.

This Creator God is referred to “as the God of Hope” in Scripture which also says “faith, hope and love abide forever”.

Today, if you don’t know which way to turn, or you don’t what what to believe, or who to trust, seek the Lord Most High.  Seek Him with all your heart, and you shall find Him. Inquire of Him - in prayer and through His Word, and He will reveal that He, above all else in this world can be trusted.  He honors His Word above His name, and His name is the name above all names. He remains faithful even if I / we become unfaithful.  His Word is Truth. He cannot lie. When we honestly say “My trust is in you O Lord, my God”, He becomes our protector, our provider, and the one who leads us into all truth. He warns us of things to come. He can be trusted, after all, He is our Creator, the maker of Heaven and Earth, the Almighty God, the Everlasting Father, the Prince of all Peace and much more.

I have learned, and continue to learn to “Trust in the Lord with all my heart”. My prayer is that you and your household do so as well.  This is Independence Day weekend. Learn to be independent of the worlds ways, but fully dependent on the Lord our God. Rejoice and take time to establish or re-establish your trust in the Lord.  May grace and peace multiply as you grow in knowledge of Christ, our Redeemer - the one who ever lives to make intercession for us.  You can trust Him.

Remember When

Remember When
We were recently at a Conference where the first speaker stated he had a vision on the way in which Holy Spirit said “Remember When”. He said he understood this to be a ‘Word” from the Lord concerning the Conference. When he spoke the above, my mind instantly recalled a message we recently shared from Scripture which says “Let the redeemed of the Lord say so”, from which one can easily say it this way - “let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story”, (i.e. remembering when—-)
Remembering when, or recalling the experiences of the working of God in our lives brings hope, strength and faith into ones life today, because we know that Jesus Christ is the same, yesterday, today and forever, and that our God changes not.
Psalms 135 verses 13 and 14 say “Your name, O Lord is everlasting, Your remembrance, O Lord throughout all generations. For the Lord will judge His people and will have compassion on His servants.” We are a part of the “all generations” who are to remember Him.
Conference speakers spoke of the need to “keep moving forward” in our walk with the Lord. One spoke of the admonition of the Lord to “shift or squeeze through a narrow place” in order to move into the / our future (expected end) as a body of believers on the earth. He acknowledged the confusion and chaos we are faced with daily in our lives, stating the will of the Lord is to deliver His people from confusion and chaos. Meaning to me, that our expected end is the increase of His Government and of His Peace in our lives.
As I have pondered the Conference messages, I remembered the Apostle Paul’s writing in
1 Timothy 4:1 “But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons, 2 by means of the hypocrisy of liars seared in their own conscience as with a branding iron,” and realized we are in those times where many have fallen away, and many have bought the lies of deceitfulness arising from the kingdom of darkness. Certainly, far too many consciences seem to have be cauterized. We have those who should be morally and intelligently leading us saying we have to allow persons to choose which gender they want to be and seem to have missed the issue of a Creator who gave us a bathroom assignment at conception. That choice is not ours to make. It is the result of ignoring or not remembering the Truth of our Creator. Abortion is approached as a health issue, when indeed it is about the death of a child who has been given life at conception. In nearly every area of our lives, confusion and chaos seem to be arising. Fears and anxious thoughts fill the lives of far to many. As Isaiah prophesied, “good will be called evil, and evil will be called good”. Can we remember that the God of Creation does not tempt man with evil?

How long will we, the citizens of a Nation created by our founding Fathers to honor the God of all creation be continually led as sheep to the slaughter in this pathway which will surely lead even our Nation towards destruction? When will enough of us make a noise first in our Appeals to Heaven, and then to those who are assigned as leaders, and who have taken an oath to

honor our Constitution. Rights granted us by our Creator do not change. Truth does not evolve. Truth is forever truth. The Word of God is an Eternal Truth.
Can we who are part of the family of God on earth begin again to remember when God delivered His people in spite of overwhelming odds against them? Can we remember when the Lord told His people that if they obeyed His Word they would be provided for and protected, and that if they did not obey, their sin would ultimately lead to their death, and even the destruction of their land through adverse weather events causing famine and desolation, even leading to their enslavement by other nations.
Can we remember how He split the Red Sea and the Jordan? Can we remember how Moses tapped a rock and millions of gallons of water came from it in the desert? Can we remember how the Spirit of Might came on Elijah and he outran the Kings horses? Can we remember the miracles of Christ Jesus revealed in the Gospels? Can we remember the Acts of the Apostles recorded in the New Testament? Can we remember the experiences of the Lord in our own lives? Can we “tell our stories” to one another and to a people who have fallen away, or payed attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons? Can we ourselves squeeze through a narrow place in these troubling times of confusion and chaos to reach our expected end? If we choose to believe, “Yes, we can” according the Word of God.
As we “remember when” the Lord acted, we build real hope. Hope becomes a substance for ones faith to remain strong. If we hope for change, it should be that we behold our King (Jesus), and are changed from glory to glory. Our changes should be from grace to grace. Hebrews 2:1 says “For this reason we must pay much closer attention to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away from it”
My appeal is to Heaven, and to each of us to “remember when” our unchanging God released Himself into the lives of humanity to reveal who He really is and how He really does provide for and protect any who choose to believe and obey Him. May we each pay close attention to what we learned about the Lord from His Word. It is not hard, but does require a firm commitment to know the Truth which makes us free from the wages of sin - first personally, and then increasingly for our land. If you make the commitment, you will surely find His Grace is sufficient.
May the blessings of our Lord abound in your life today in Jesus name.

Sin Is Nothing New

Sin Is Nothing New

There is nothing new about sin.  It began in the Garden east of Eden.  Its origin is revealed in Genesis chapter 3 when Eve and then Adam ate of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil and has wrecked havoc with mankind ever since.   Sin is identified as rebellion against God. The New Testament let’s us know that it begins in our inner man, in our thoughts and meditations.

Though sin - rebellion against God / His Word / Commands is not new, the open, in your face, public display of it is new in our lifetimes, and especially in America.  We began as a moral people, fearing God and wanting to do what is right in His sight as a Nation.  Our system of law as based on God’s Word.  Our early national fathers were men who feared God and knew according to their writings that if this Nation was to prosper and remain, her leaders and peoples had to remain moral and upright in God’s sight.  They knew from world history that any Nation refuting Him and His Word could not be nor remain free.  They openly stated that our Liberties were from our Creator, and were to be guarded and maintained.  They knew freedom was not free and that unrighteous leaders brought corruption and then harshness of life for their citizens.

As a young man, I could not have imagined that men, women, children, businesses, government, and even some churches would ever openly promote that which is contrary to God  without shame nor guilt.  Sexual sins seem to be a type of “norm”,  children apart from marriage,
entitlement mentalities, lawlessness and rioting, Government leaders making decisions in the middle of the night apart from any scrutiny of even many of their own peers, and much more goes without public outcry.  Open defiance of Christ and His values, including removing any public awareness of His Word in any way possible.  Each week, it seems to be worse.

When will we, those who are fully aware of these changes in our culture stand up and speak up?  When will we recognize that unless we who know truth do something different than we have been, it will only be harder for our succeeding generations?   When will we muster the courage to be as open about what is right as those who promote what is not right?  If we think others are going to do it for us, we will suffer.  Perhaps several / many are waiting for you to start speaking up in your spheres of influence.

Let us see that the Apostle Paul confronted Roman Government as a Roman citizen and not in the name of his church, though he did present Christ and forgiveness of sins to the King.  Should we not arise first as citizens, and the more-so as those who know Christ and choose to live morally and uprightly as much as be possible?

Should we not say loudly to our leaders “enough is enough”? Should we be taxed into poverty to support unjust laws and decisions by unjust leaders?  Should we bow down to scores of rules that are contrary to being a free people?  Should we support and pay perpetually for those who refuse look for gainful employment or simply “game the system” feeling they are entitled to a free ride so to speak?   Can we not see that the “war on poverty” can never be won by entitlements and Government interference of the freedoms espoused by our Founders? Can we see that morality and goodness to mankind does not come by the rules of man, but rather by the Ways of God.

Perhaps we need to heed the words of the believers in the book of Acts and pray that “God would grant us boldness to speak His Word so that signs and wonders could be done the hand of the Holy Child, Jesus”  I believe it is past time to openly and boldly inform multitudes that apart from repenting of sins, turning from our wicked ways and seeking the face of God, our Nation will not be healed.  That our own history and more shows clearly that a Nation who honors God the Creator, who sent His Son as Redeemer is a Nation whose people rejoice and live in freedom.

Certainly sin is not new, nor will it be entirely eradicated among men until Christ Himself returns to the earth, we must cease to ignore and even promote it.  Our compromise with those issues contrary to God’s Word have cost us dearly and brought only temporal appeasement to lives. Many do and many will scoff at the Truth that makes men free, but I have tasted and seen that His Word is true and that He is a good God and Heavenly Father. Look into His Word today and decide that though sin has been around for a long time, time has proven it to be destructive in every way.  See while you are looking, that receiving the one who paid for our sin with His own Blood and then choosing to honor Him with your life will bring blessings beyond natural belief. May you find His Grace to be more than sufficient for you, His Mercy new every day, and become able to join in overcoming that which is destroying our Nation (at least trying to) and the lives of those who love freedom

In about a month, we will celebrate July 4th, the day of Declaration of Independence from bondage.  Look and see that it was a real battle to win the freedoms which enabled America to become a “light on the hill” of humanity and give hope to millions trapped in the bondage of sinful leaders and rules.  Then, I encourage you to choose to join in the battle to maintain those freedoms with the courage, morals and values of our National forefathers.  God bless you and yours in Jesus name.

A Biblical Worldview

A Biblical Worldview

A Ministry we support is holding a conference this weekend concerning instruction on “A Biblical Worldview”.   Such an important subject.  How we look at the world we live in determines how we see what is happening.  I’ve been meditating on the title for several days.   Do you see, for instance that so many of our Religious Freedoms as Americans are being declared null and void?   Do you see that much of what is transpiring here and abroad is Anti-Christian?   Have you noticed that many Churches are changing their doctrines / views to anti-Biblical stances? It is through that Biblical Worldview that we can see what is causing so much despair for so many on this earth.

The Apostle Paul told us in the 2nd Thessalonians “the day of the Lord” would not come unless the apostasy (aka falling away) comes first.  Falling away from what?  Obviously, from Truth.  Jesus said “Thy Word O God is truth”, so we can say that  a falling away from Biblical Truth is a sign of Biblically foretold times  We live in that time.   As a Nation, we have fallen away from the principles on which our Nation was founded.  We have bought the lie that men have espoused concerning the separation of church and state to the point that we are making laws against our 1st Amendment which states in part “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech……”

In Indiana recently, leaders caved in to anti-Biblical truth by making it law that one must violate his / her Bible-based faith to accommodate an event that celebrates what Scripture refers to as sin, even an abomination in God’s sight. In other places, it concerns florists, bakers and other businesses. Later this month, our U.S. Supreme Court will hear arguments about changing the entire meaning of marriage as it has stood since the Book of Genesis. Millions of dollars and vast amounts of time are being spent to defend or destroy family as our God intended.  Where will this onslaught against our Christian, Biblical values stop?  Truthfully, it won’t until we who call ourselves Christians draw the proverbial line in the sand and stand in Truth.  To stand in Truth, we must live in Truth honoring the Spirit of Truth that lives in us.  We, who represent Christ on this earth will need to listen in our hearts to the Word of God, turn where necessary from our own wicked ways, and sincerely repent as we seek His face so that healing can come to our land. Then, our stand will include the Arm of the Lord - not just our fleshly desires.

We cannot continue to violate Biblical principles and expect anything except the judgment we are bringing upon ourselves.  Decisions that unlimitedly lead to troubles we cannot handle - even as a Nation.  As a Nation, we kill / abort our babies without remorse - the shedding of innocent blood. We break covenant after covenant - marriages end in divorce with “no fault”??? Leaders lay their hands on a Bible and take an oath to honor the Constitution of the United States and within days are voting contrary to what it says.  Almost anything has preference to God in far to many lives - Idolatry is what that is called in Scripture.  Sexual immorality is rampant, even exploiting young children.  Scripture says those four things alone can cause a land to vomit out it’s inhabitants.  In history, that has happened by being overrun by enemies, by famine,  other natural disasters or financial collapse.

That “day of the Lord” spoken of earlier according to Paul would include the revealing of “the man of lawlessness, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God displaying himself as being God”  That person is commonly called “the Anti-Christ”, the one who will cause havoc and misery such as the world has never before seen.  Scripture calls that season “The Great Tribulation”.   In that area of Scripture, Paul clearly tells us that a Church alive to God, honoring God and standing in His Truth is holding back that event.  While their are things of the Lord I would love to hasten, this Great Tribulation is not one of them because even personally, their are so many I care about that will (and even, already are) fall for the deception of that season, sealing their fate forever by proverbially selling their souls for a bowl of porridge as Esau did.

Christians everywhere, it is time to know and understand what a Biblical Worldview is and stand up as one who insists on living his / her life accordingly.  If others choose not to, that is a decision you nor I cannot make for them.  However, I do not want them forcing their decisions against the God of Creation upon me or my family.  I love my God. I give thanks for His Redeeming Blood. I receive of His Mercy and Grace everyday.  I want to study His Word so I can be a workman that needs not be ashamed before Him.. As Christ said of Himself “I am the way, the truth, and the life.  No one comes to the Father except by Me”. Contrary to much popular opinion, a Biblical Worldview clearly shows their is but one way through one Redeemer to live Eternally with our Creator.  I choose to honor Him with all my heart. I’m inviting you to know Him, His ways and do the same.

What Are Your Plans

Over the past few weeks, increasingly we have heard warnings about ISIS rebels infiltrating America through our porous borders and lax immigration laws.  Christian and non-christians have spoken of what could happen - even in terms of being sure something horrible will happen.   Some are based on available facts and others on intuition or vision of the Lord.   All of them point to horrible, beyond moral imagination brutalities being inflicted upon Americans.

We know it COULD happen, as we see the horror pictures and accounts from other countries.  Various reports seem to indicate that our own Government has covered up some / certain facts, perhaps afraid of releasing fear across the land.

Recently we were at the Illinois Family Institute annual meeting where Eric Mataxas shared how closely we, the church in America, are imitating the church in Germany during the ideology of Natzism rising to power there in the 30’s and 40’s.  The church being asleep concerning what was happening in their nation and being in denial of any possible harm to them or their fellow citizens.   Deceived and blinded according to the writings of Dietrich Bonhoeffer.

Eric shared that when someone asks him what he believes America will look like in a few years he has to respond “I don’t know - it all depends on what the believers do now”.

Can we each at the very least acknowledge that circumstances are such that the warnings “COULD happen”?   Not being sure they will, but that they could.

Isaiah 55:9 states “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts”, and Jeremiah 29:11 (written while Israel was in captivity” says “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not calamity to give you a good future and a hope”. Proverbs 19:21 “Many are the plans in a man’s heart, But the counsel (aka plans / purpose)of the Lord will stand”

So, we know what the plans of the Lord are, the question remaining is “What are my plans?”   Can we acknowledge that whatever my plans are, God has the best plan?
Can we say it would be good to seek Him and get His plan for our individual and corporate lives?  Can we accept the truth that our plans that lack the leading of the Lord are or can be worthless?
What are your / my / our plans in the event that what could happen does happen?  I’m suggesting you become rooted and grounded in Christ now according to the Scriptures, that you build yourself up by knowing who you are in Christ and solidify such truths as “I will never leave you nor forsake you”,  “When He, the Spirit of Truth comes, He will lead you into all truth”,  “My sheep are able to hear My voice, and the voice of a stranger they will not follow”,  “you have not been given a spirit of fear, but rather of love, power and soundness of mind”, “you do have the mind of Christ”,  “the life I now live, I live by the faith of the Son of God who loved me and gave Himself for me”,  “my God shall supply all my need through His riches in Glory by Christ Jesus”,  “I will say of the Lord, You are my fortress and strong tower”,  “harm, plague nor pestilence will not come by me nor anything that is mine”, “faith (Christ) is my shield, and His Word my sword”, and much more.

Know that today is always the day of salvation.  Live righteously today so the way of a righteous harvest is paved for you and yours.

Our Founding Fathers declared that our Government is to be “of the people, by the people and for the people”.  Let us as moral citizens of America take our position and exercise our responsibilities and vote in the upcoming election.  Vote only for moral persons who will stand for what is common sense righteousness for our Country. Demand that our leaders do what they usually promise, but seldom carry out once elected.  Let us stand strong as citizens who do know right from wrong and voice truth without ceasing.  IF only a few can cause decisions contrary to what we know to be the best for us, certainly, we the MANY (if we let our voice be heard by speaking out and by voting properly) can make a difference..   I for one am tired of my tax monies being spent on things completely contrary to what I believe and know to be true according to the plans of our God - plans for a good future and a good hope.

Jeremiah 22:13 says “Woe to him who builds his house without righteousness and his upper rooms without justice.  Who uses his neighbor’s services without pay....”   Isaiah 59:14 “Righteousness stands afar off and justice is held back for truth has fallen in the streets”.   Let us be those who make sure “Truth” (Thy Word O God is Truth) is heard in the streets.  Not necessarily in Elizabethan, King James english, but rather through our everyday eating, breathing, talking and working lives.

Pray, and make your voice heard in the heavens.  Vote and make your voice heard in your neighborhood.  Make your plans according to the leading of the Lord in these perilous times.  Know that as you honor Christ and follow His leadings He will be glorified in your life and it will be good for you - no matter if what could happen does happen or if it does not.  Plan on allowing Christ to shine through your life so that others who don’t yet know Him can find the path that leads to Life including His protection and provision.  May the Lord’s plans of a good hope and future manifest in America.

While We Were Sleeping

1 Peter 5:8 “Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.”   Ephesians 6:18 “Pray at all times with every kind of spiritual prayer, keeping alert and persistent as you pray for all Christ?s men and women.” 1 Corinthians 16:13 (Amplified Bible) “Be alert and on your guard; stand firm in your faith (your conviction respecting man?s relationship to God and divine things, keeping the trust and holy fervor born of faith and a part of it). Act like men and be courageous; grow in strength!”

The above verses form the basis of what follows.  We are told to be alert, meaning to be awake and watching in these and many other Scriptures in both the Old and New Testaments.

A few days ago as I was going about my own business, I sensed the Lord instructing me to write this article titled as above “While we Were Sleeping...”.   In a moment of time, I was realizing so much that is contrary to the principles of our God and our Nation seems to be exploding around us.  I knew in the same moment that it didn’t just start this year or this decade, but rather we - the Church, the Body of Christ (as a whole) - have not been awake enough to stand like men as issue after issue arose in this Nation.

We disliked it that abortion was being allowed as “Constitutional”.  We disliked that prayer was removed from school; that biblical references were removed from one public place after another.  We grumbled that sexual perversions were filling our cinema’s and TV’s and much more.   We were so lethargic on our watch that a few years ago, major publications wrote headlines saying that God is/was dead.

God is only dead on the earth because His people, those who have received their redemption by the Blood of the Lamb, are sound asleep or at least dozing off.   A few years ago, I and four other men drove several hundred miles and spent four really long days receiving instruction in the Lord.  We all wanted to get home and one brother in particular wanted to drive.  He began to weave around on the road.  We would speak loudly and he would arouse.  He insisted however that he was not to tired to safely drive.  Well, after a couple of swerves onto the shoulder, we insisted he allow someone else to drive who was awake.   Later, he kept telling us that we were just being extra concerned, and that he would have kept us safe.  I don’t know that any of us agreed with that!

Today in our Nation many are sounding an alarm that we need to arouse, to wake up from our sleep and allow the God of all creation to shine brightly in our lives.  Many are warning of pending disaster if we don’t watch what is going on.  Many are just like the brother above - “I’m awake, we will all be safe”.    These who claim to be alert, but are not, fail to see that while we were sleeping, the enemy of our soul, the thief who comes to steal, kill and destroy, the one seeking to devour, has been able to set up camp in positions which the Righteous in the Lord should have been holding.  In lieu of rejoicing, many are moaning. While we were sleeping, the family structure has been nearly destroyed by deviating from God's plan of a Father and Mother training up a child in the way he or she should go.  While we were sleeping, our educational system was infiltrated by many who want to revise our history and in the name of “helping” have in reality caused a decline in our scholastic abilities in basics such as reading and the ability to think through issues logically.  While we were sleeping, our laws were altered to give advantage to those who are acting contrary the the principles of morality.  While we were sleeping, an entitlement society was formed putting both the recipient of such entitlement and those supporting it in increasing bondage.

It is time for the Church, the Righteous in the Lord, to AWAKE, to ARISE and release Truth in the streets before it is too late.  We must openly insist, that this Nation return to those God-honoring principles that made America great, and have always released both the provision and protection of our Creator.   It is time to recognize that in Christ we can indeed do whatever is required of us by our God.  We can awaken.  We can stand.  We can release Truth.  We can stand the pressures that will certainly arise as we bring our culture back to a place where corruption and distrust are replaced with honesty and integrity because we honor the Word of God which is Truth.

Awaken, arise, get involved in what is happening.  Refuse to function apart from what is right in the sight of God.  Let’s not sleep until the waters have risen above our noses or the fire has kindled upon us, but rather stand up in Christ and reveal His Glory to a lost and dying world.  Decide today to recognize we have been asleep, repent and arise in His strength.  Do it for the sake of the generations that follow us.  Go for it!

I'm Tired - I'm Not Tired

I’m tired.  I’m tired of conservatives, those wanting to honor the Constitution, those believing in a Biblical World view including believing marriage is to be between one man and one woman, and those who believe that upon conception a real live human being has begun to grow in a woman’s womb being treated like second class, extremist, right wing nut cases!   I’m tired of having to change views or laws, and being put at risk for being a hater of some type for every person who seems to think their feelings are hurt by someone’s point of view which is different than theirs at the moment.  It seems to me that it is time for good old-fashioned common sense mingled with courage and Biblical morals to arise and not only resist, but begin to move forward to turn these life changing, peace destroying issues around so we can once again be what our Founding Fathers and the God of all creation intended for us.   Life and not death.  Blessings and not curses.  Light and not darkness.

Colossians 1:13 - 14 says “For we must never forget that he rescued us from the power of darkness, and re-established us in the kingdom of his beloved Son, that is, in the kingdom of light. For it is by his Son alone that we have been redeemed and have had our sins forgiven.”   Ephesians 1:3 says “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,” and in John 10:10 Christ Himself says “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.”

Biblical and natural history reveal that courageous, virtuous men and / or women must arise and defend what is right in a culture, or it falls backwards into what could easily be called an abyss - a cultural cesspool.  We must look about and see that our culture is moving as a whole towards a cultural cesspool.  Space doesn’t allow me to begin listing one by one the ungodly things happening daily in our land.

I’m tired of lawmakers, peace officers, judicial leaders, corporate and community leaders caving in to small groups that want special privilege and those leaders saying they can do nothing about it.   Perhaps they really feel that way, but I’m tired of this ungodliness running roughshod over our hard earned freedoms both in Christ and by our Founding Fathers, and the generations that followed. I’m tired of those unrighteous persons calling those who are doing their best to preserve what is right in this nation ugly names that should not even be spoken.

I believe it is fully time for conservative, Constitution honoring, Biblical World View believers to be of one united voice before our God and our neighbors.  We must beseech our God for His wisdom, timing and courage.  We need to inform our neighbors that we must arise and shine the real Light of Life out into the darkness all around us. We must stand together and make a sound that penetrates every part of our culture saying that we are tired of this destruction of what is right and good in the sight of God.  We do not have to agree with those who call evil good and good evil.   God said these days would come, but He also revealed that those who are His shall not join that crowd.  What fellowship has Light with darkness?   What fellowship has Life with death?  What fellowship has Blessings with curses?    Let us the Body of Christ, the Church, stand together as if we really do believe that their is One Lord and One Spirit that we are joined with by faith in Christ.   Let us see that righteousness exalts a Nation.

By the way, I’m not tired of serving the Lord Jesus Christ.  I’m not tired of standing for what is right in the sight of God.  I’m not tired of holding faith as a shield nor of releasing His Word as a sword of the Spirit.  I’m not tired of making intercessions for all men nor of asking that all our leaders be saved so we can live quiet peaceable lives on earth. Neither am I tired of telling the old, old story of Jesus and His love for all of mankind.

Have a blessed season renewing yourself with His might and experiencing the surpassing greatness of His power towards you and yours.
